5. Alcohol contains 7 calories; carbohydrates and protein each contain 4.
6. The healthy range of daily calorie intake stemming from fat is between 20-30%.
7. The percentage of total energy stemming from fat in 2% whole milk is 36%!
8. The amount of calories in pasta sauces vary. Carbonara contains the most, followed by Pesto, Bolognese, and Napoletana.
9. Fizzy soft drinks should also be avoided. Fanta contains 195 calories per 375 ml, Coke 154, Lemonade contains 160, and Tonic Water around 135.
10. Be careful with nuts! Macadamia Nuts contain 21 grams of fat per 30g, walnuts 16 grams, almonds 15 grams, while raw peanuts contain 11 grams per 30g.
